The essence of this therapy is based on the study of the Correspondence Systems existing in our bodies on a very basic and physical level. The hands and feet are the portions of the human body that most closely mirror the structure and shape of the body. The startling similarities between the hands and feet and the human body led to the discovery of the Correspondence systems, and a new way of thinking about the human body. It also gave this highly effective and logical science its name- Sujok, which in the Korean language simply translates to hand & feet.
Overview
The position of highly active points corresponding to all organs and other body components can be seen on the hands and feet. These spots are positioned in a strict order on the Hands and Feet, resembling a tiny model of the organism. As a result, the hands and feet function as remote controls for the body.
Electromagnetic waves are constantly used by the body and its associated systems to communicate. A therapeutic wave is generated by stimulating the places on the hands and feet that correspond to the sick areas, which restores and harmonises the obstructed energy flow in the body.

Course I Syllabus
Theoretical topics:
History of the development of the Su Jok therapy method.
The similarities of the hand and feet to the body- Nature’s gift to mankind.
Thumb is head- evidence of correspondence of the thumb to the head
The Standard system of Correspondence on hands and feet
Location of the Reference lines- Lines of symmetry, Yin-Yang borders and
projections of the Diaphragm on hands and feet.
Primary and secondary correspondence systems
Location of the Upper body on hands & feet- Correspondences to head, neck and
extremities.
Basic stages of locating correspondence points.
Location of the Lower body on hands & feet- Projections of the organs of the
chest, abdomen and small pelvis, of the spinal column, nervous and endocrine
system.
Partial Correspondence systems- Animal head correspondence, correspondences
for treating digestive organs.
Locating “difficult” points in the standard body correspondence systems on
hands- Armpit, Hip joint, Sitting and standing positions of legs
Mini systems of correspondence.
The three-level structure of the world and its reflection in the correspondence
systems.
The “insect” correspondence system.
Nail therapy.
Su Jok emergency therapy.
Theory of reflection axes.
The Homo system of the body, principles of its organization (briefly).
Approaches to the treatment of specific pathologies.
Treatment Modalities, Practical know-how:
Demonstration of the efficiency of the method- Locating therapeutic points with
the diagnostic probe. Massage techniques in the correspondence systems using
fingers, diagnostic probe and roller massagers.
Treatment of pain (principles and methods).
Application of surface applicators: magnet and metal stars and other artificial
stimulators.
Moxibustion- Indications and contra-indications, Various types of Moxa,
Methods of Moxibustion (Tonification, sedation and harmonization). Treatment
using Moxa, Energy points.
Treatment with microneedles and T-needles- Bloodletting, use of Inserters,
replaceable tips, sterilization of needles.
Application of natural stimulators: Seed therapy, Cryotherapy, Colour therapy.
Basic principles of treatment in correspondence systems: two- and three-point
treatment, five-step treatment. Rubber-band therapy. Elastic rings, sticks for
massage and other massagers.
Additional stimulation using device for Vibro massage, Color light stimulators
Eligibility:
Anyone with a very basic idea of the human body functioning will be able to do this course. It is an effective Self-help technique and a foundational course for the higher levels.
